Executive wellness advisory

Executive wellness, for the quality of decisions.

For chief executives, founders and senior leadership teams whose capacity is now a business risk. We look at the load placed on leaders, the structures around them and the decisions that suffer when reserves run low.

Who it helps

Chief executives and founders

Carrying concentrated decision load through growth, investment, transition or scrutiny.

Senior leadership teams

Where escalation, meeting load and constant switching are consuming strategic attention.

Chairs and boards

Concerned about key person dependency and succession resilience at the top.

Warning signals

If several of these sound familiar, pressure is already costing you.

  • 01Decisions are revisited, delayed or escalated more than they used to be
  • 02Senior diaries leave no room for thinking time
  • 03One or two leaders have become single points of failure
  • 04Challenge in the leadership team has become quieter or sharper
  • 05Strong senior hires are leaving earlier than planned
  • 06Leaders describe themselves as busy rather than effective
The problem

Pressure at the top rarely appears in absence data. It shows up as narrower options, slower decisions and a leadership team that has stopped challenging itself. By the time it is visible, it has often already cost the organisation.

Executive wellness here means protecting the capacity to lead: how decision load is distributed, how the operating rhythm consumes attention and where dependency on individuals has become unsafe.

Scope of work

Leadership load review

Confidential conversations with senior leaders on decision load, escalation patterns and recovery time.

Operating rhythm analysis

Meeting load, reporting cycles and delegation, examined for where strategic attention is lost.

Dependency mapping

Where continuity rests on too few people, and what would reduce that exposure.

Advisory sessions

Structured sessions with the executive team to redesign load, rhythm and decision rights.

Concrete deliverables, once scope is agreed

  • Leadership pressure findings reported at team level, never as individual profiles
  • Decision load and operating rhythm recommendations
  • Key person dependency view with practical mitigations
  • Executive team advisory sessions as scoped
  • Indicators the chair or board can review over time
How engagement decisions are made
  1. 1

    Initial conversation

We explore what is happening at leadership level and whether a scoped review would be useful. Nothing paid is agreed at this point.

  2. 2

    Written scope

If appropriate, we set out which leaders are involved, what will be reviewed, outputs and fees.

  3. 3

    Agreed start

Work starts only when you have approved the scope. Further advisory support is decided on the findings.

Boundaries
  • This is organisational advisory, not medical assessment, therapy or clinical treatment
  • Individual health concerns are signposted to appropriate professional services
  • We do not provide personal coaching packages detached from organisational change
  • Findings are reported at a level that protects individual confidentiality

Please do not send individual health records or employee identifiers by WhatsApp.

Questions buyers ask

No. Coaching works with an individual. This work examines the structures and load around the leadership team and changes them.

Start with an initial conversation.

Bring the main business pressure, the teams affected and any absence, turnover or workload evidence you have. We will explore whether an organisational assessment is appropriate and, if so, agree scope and outputs before any paid work.
